Woodbridge UK Christmas Market
I am a big sucker for Farmer’s markets, outdoor markets, flower markets, and especially Christmas markets. Steaming hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts, pastries, mulled wine, oh yeah! Bring it on! 😉
We are situated between several small villages, and many of them have a local Christmas themed market each weekend. This one was located just a few miles away.
The street was filled with venders and shoppers. There was arts, crafts, ornaments, jewelry, decorations, and gift items. There were also many local food items and desserts.
There were so many delicious looking bakery goods.
Check out all those tempting little pies.
We had a great time walking down the street and seeing all the booths. Summer liked to stop and look at each of the jewelry booths. Luie was fascinated with the toys, of course.
This part of the market was located in a historic town square. It was a fun and festive day!
This looks like a wonderful Christmas market. One thing I really miss about back home being in Asia is that Christmas isn’t really celebrated over here. It’s the time of year I miss the festive spirit, the markets, family and friends.
Thanks Samuel. I know what you mean. Christmas is one of those times when that old saying really holds true, “There’s no place like home!”
