We spent the last several days with our extended family, visiting Lake Geneva and beautiful medieval Yvoire village.
The town of Yvoire is over 700 years old. Evidence of the past is still seen in the gateways and castle.
The village has been recognized for its floral decorations. And as you can see from the photo above, it is a very pretty town and attracts many tourists.
Yvoire village sits on the edge of Lake Geneva (Leman Lake) between the small and large sections of lake.
On such a beautiful day, it is no wonder that Lake Geneva is filled with sailboats.
Summer, Luie, Jon, and Simon get a close look at some of the sailboats from the end of this long dock, which is about a 10 minute drive from Yvoire.
Swimming, paddle ball, and visiting. At the end of the day we were all sad to say good-bye. We had such a great time seeing Dave’s nephews and niece again. It was so special to reconnect with them and have some adventures.
