Amazing Alcázar in Seville Spain
The Alcázar is located very near the Cathedral. Originally the Alcázar was a Moorish fort and later a royal palace. There are a group of buildings from different time periods with different types of architecture.
There are gardens, courtyards, reflecting pools, patios, fountains, tiles, columns, elaborate ceilings, and the list goes on. The Alcázar was much larger than we thought it would be and we spent over 3 hours wandering around and enjoying the splendor.
The Alcázar is beautiful and I would definitely recommend it. It is really fun to explore a palace. The entrance fee is 8.50 euros, and Monday’s are free.
