Luie has been asking to do a blog post, so he was very excited to do this post today!
Dictated by Luie.
It was a rainy day but we found this playground and it was very fun!
This net tunnel is very fun to climb in.
This swing is very fun and I said “Summer, can we go on it again and again and again?” And she said, “Yes! we can go on it again!”
“Thank you, Summer. Great, I cannot wait to go on it again!”
I thought this was something to climb, but I was wrong it was something to just go through like a maze.
This is a spinning climbing thingy. You have to spin it around and then you can climb it, which it would be very hard to climb if it was spinning around. When I got to the top, then I asked my dad to spin it.
This is a thingy you can walk across the rope and it would be very tricky to walk without the thingys.
This is a fun teeter totter and when you do it there is this rope so you can hang on and there is a bar. My sister got inside and usually most teeter totters don’t have tires under to make it so you don’t go “Ouch” on your butt. It was fun to do the teeter totter.
This is where I am pretending to drive an excavator. I watch Gold Rush with my dad and they have real excavators.
This is me pretending to save the world with my mighty strong hands!
This was a fun playground. The End.
***And I really am excited for people to comment on my new post!***
UPDATE: WE HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE FACEBOOK COMMENTS NOT WORKING RIGHT. NOW WE LOST SOME COMMENTS THAT WERE POSTED THOUGH FACEBOOK. WE ARE WORKING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.
Luie, You have a great fun blog and lots of fun things to see and play on.
from Luie: Thank you Grandad, that was a fun playground to be at and the swing is so fun to swing on with my sister.
Luie I loved your writing. I have worked on playgrounds at four different schools and visited lots of others with my own kids, and I have never seen any of the interesting things you showed us! I think what you showed us is really better than any other playground I’ve seen. I especially liked the tire cushions under the teeter totters. We do have those rope bridges here though, and they’re fun. Keep writing!!!!
from Luie: Thank you Susan. I enjoyed that playground very much. I like the teeter totter. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.
But one thing that is different about this rope bridge…it has a top! I haven’t seen that before.
from Luie: Oh, I haven’t saw it different before.
I love Luie’s descriptions, how cute! Having the opportunity to travel is such a blessing, cherrish it! Nancy, I assume this fantastic website was your idea, keep us posted cuz then I can feel like I’m riding along… in a way 😉 Love you guys!
from Luie: Thank you Roxane. I miss you very much!
Yay Roxy! Yes, this blog has been more fun than I ever thought. We love traveling together, learning, growing, and adventuring. Love you too!
Hey Luie, that looks like alot of fun. What neat things they have there to play on. I loved the swing. That would really be fun. I can see why you liked it so much. Loved the idea of the tires under the teeter todder, what a great idea someone had. That is what they should do here. What a fun day you had. Wish I was there to have some fun too. Keep it up, and keep writing, love to hear what you have to say.
from Luie: Thank you Mary. And thank you for commenting. I’m going to do another blog post next week!
I love hearing Luie’s descriptions! 🙂 We have a swing just like that. However Bonnie had to cut the big tree down in our yard so we’re still trying to figure out where to put it! 🙂 We got it from Miles. I love the look on Luie’s face when he’s on his excavator. how sweet. Miss you guys!
from Luie: Thank you Kim. The excavator is like a real excavator but just without a top and you can’t drive it. That is cool to have a swing like this one.
Luie, that swing was my favorite. I’d like to take a ride on one of those! That looked like the neatest play ground I’ve ever seen. That rope bridge you were on reminded me of the bridge I had to cross on my last Hash. It was kind of like that. Just one little bar for your feet and then you hold on to the rail. I had to cross a river that was really big and fast from all the rain we’ve been having. I think the Hash is like a big giant playground for big people. Last night, I had to ride on a motorcycle through the floods and then ride in the back of a cart through even more floods to get to my apartment. It was fun, but I got really wet! Keep writing Luie, I like reading your posts and seeing your pictures. Maybe some day you can come see me and Uncle Tony over here. We’ll take you on more adventures! Love you big man!
from Luie: Thank you Fancy Nancy! I would like to come visit you some more. Thank you for commenting! We love you!
Where is the playground and what is name ???? Please : Julia 9 years old is waiting for your answer
This park is right next to the Botanic Gardens. If you walk around the Botanic Gardens it is on the side nearest the sea. I think that Julia will love it!
