After six days in a row of theme parks, we were ready for a break. A day at the beach sounded perfect! So we headed back to Coronado. The water was much warmer in September than it was in July. This was a nice surprise for the body surfers. But later in the day as the air cooled, it was more fun to dig in the sand. At least that’s what Luie kept telling us. We were lucky enough to meet up with our niece, Roxane, who is now a beautiful California girl. She was a good sport and jumped in to help Luie dig his big hole.
Ahhh! There is something extraordinary about an ocean sunset!
