Boba drinks are like smoothies with chewy tapioca balls at the bottom. They are a cool refreshing treat that we always get in Hawaii. Summer has been a big fan of Boba drinks ever since she was 2 years old. So when she saw that the Hawaiian BBQ place had them, she began her campaign. Since Dave also loves a nice cold Boba, he was easily convinced.
Summer’s favorite flavor is honeydew. You can see the dark tapioca balls at the bottom.
Luie and Dave shared a mango Boba.
The chewy tapioca balls take some getting used to if you haven’t had them before. Luie was not convinced that Boba drinks were as good as Summer thought they were.

we made them at home. it was fun and we loved them. When we first tried them that’s when we wanted to start a boba shop in WW. I guess we should have.
